How I shoot cars that actually sell

A quick look at the lighting and angles I use for dealer inventory, and why consistency beats flash.

How I shoot cars that actually sell

Good inventory photos do one job. They make a buyer stop scrolling and picture themselves in the car.

Keep it consistent

Every car in a listing should sit in the same frame, at the same height, in the same light. When the set matches, the whole page looks trustworthy, and trust is what sells.

Light for shape, not shine

Cars are big reflective objects. I light for the shape of the panels, then kill the distracting reflections. The result reads clean without looking fake.
