Why I wait for the second moment

Most people relax a beat after they think the photo is taken. That beat is the picture.

Ask anyone to smile and you get a mask. Wait three seconds and you get a person.

So I keep shooting past the obvious moment. The frame I want almost always comes after everyone assumes we are done.
